(Almost) Homemade Blueberry Turnovers

A Little Path to Bub's Heart

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 c cup blueberries thawed, if frozen
  • 1/8 cup + two Tbsp powdered sugar divided
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Combine first three ingredients over medium heat and let come to a boil stirring occasionally.
  2. Add cornstarch and allow to thicken.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and place a tablespoon of filling on the large end of the the triangle and roll it up.
  4. Place on a greased cookie sheet and cook according to package directions.
  5. Combine last three ingredients and place in a zip-lock bag.
  6. When the turnovers come out of the oven, allow to cool a bit and then ice them.
