(Almost) Homemade Blueberry Turnovers
A Little Path to Bub's Heart
- 3/4 c cup blueberries thawed, if frozen
- 1/8 cup + two Tbsp powdered sugar divided
- 1/8 cup water
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 3 tbsp cream cheese softened
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
Combine first three ingredients over medium heat and let come to a boil stirring occasionally.
Add cornstarch and allow to thicken.
Unroll crescent rolls and place a tablespoon of filling on the large end of the the triangle and roll it up.
Place on a greased cookie sheet and cook according to package directions.
Combine last three ingredients and place in a zip-lock bag.
When the turnovers come out of the oven, allow to cool a bit and then ice them.
