Clean, Homemade Cream of Chicken Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups broth
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk divided
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Combine broth and 1/2 cup of almond milk in a sauce pan and bring to a rolling boil.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients into a soupy paste.
  3. Pour flour mixture into boiling liquid and stir continuously for 5-10 minutes over low heat.
  4. Pour entire mixture into food processor or blender and mix for 30 seconds.
