Homemade Pepper Jelly

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups peppers chopped
  • 6 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tube Certo 4 oz
  • red or green food coloring
  • 1 pint blueberries optional

Instructions
 

  • Chop peppers.
  • Mix peppers, sugar, and vinegar in a large boiler and bring to a hard boil.
  • Strain out peppers and bring to a boil. Add the blueberries here if you are opting to do so.
  • Remove from heat and add Certo and food coloring.
  • Pour into sterilized jars.
  • Seal with wax.
