What came first? The chicken or egg? I don’t know but, I do know that the 40 pound box of 100% natural boneless, skinless chicken breast that I got from Zaycon Foods was amazing! You may remember guest blogger, Rachel Robinson telling us about Zaycon almost a year ago! Yes, it took me a year to finally test out Zaycon Foods and I could shoot myself for waiting so long!
The fact that you can only order chicken in 40 pound increments was a bit off-putting. And here is how Zaycon works: you sign up with them and they send you an email when they are going to be delivering something in your neck of the woods. You order it and then go pick it up on the delivery date. Did I mention that their meats are all natural? And did I mention that their chicken was only $.10 more a pound than the cheapest chicken I can find at Sam’s Club? So, I bit the the bullet and ordered a 40 pound case of chicken breasts.
I thought it was going to be a 40 pound case of little chicken breasts but, OH NO! These are some massive chicken breast!
In the background of this picture, those cookie sheets are full size cookie sheets. The piece of chicken in the forefront is bigger than both my hands together. I am talking, these are big chicken breasts. Moma helped me get them all wrapped up and put in the freezer and even she was astonished that the breast were so big!
Not quite all the chicken is in this picture- but, most of it- and as you can see- this family of 2+1 will be in the chicken for some time! However, the price and quality of this all natural chicken is awesome. I cannot wait to try out another selection of from Zaycon Foods!
