I totally feel like a broken record- whiney pants. I really do not like this feeling- and I am quickly approaching my limits. Keeping up with this blog without a fully functioning computer is challenging. There are only so many deep thoughts I can blog about. Also, all pictures have to be taken with my iPad or found on the information super highway and linking anything is out of the question. And for the record, there is a disconnect between my user name and password with the WordPress app— yes, I know- broken record/ whiney pants.
This situation reminds me of the book by Andy Andrews I am reading- Storms of Perfection 2. To refresh your memory on Andy Andrews, he is a best-selling author of several books including The Noticer and The Traveler’s Gift. (Both of which are great.) Storms of Perfection is a novel in a different, abnormal format.
Mr.Andrews asked lots and lots of successful people to write a letter sharing a time in which they had faced a failure and moved beyond it. He asked tons. And when 52 responded he managed, struggled even, to get the first volume published. And then he decided to go at it again. In the introduction of the second volume, he explains that there were people that decided to contribute that had been asked to contribute to the first volume and had turned him down.
It can be very cathartic to hear other people’s stories of struggle, perseverance and victory. Mr.Andrews tapped into that and delivered beautifully- twice. He has a great insight into the human perspective. And- a keen understanding that people’s stories of struggles and how they made it through them can be as powerful as their stories of success.
So. I am hoping that this laptop storm of mine, will lead me to the next level of perfection.
All the Best, Coralie
